From the composer: “During the Covid-19 Pandemic of 2020, so many musicians lost opportunities to perform.During that time, I wrote several pieces for friends, including this one for my good friend Jennifer Hughson. Wrapped in the Wind and the Sunis a pastoral work with a kind of wistfulness and autumnal air.I felt the clarinet was the perfect instrument to deliver that sentiment.”
