Description

This Ome Grand Artist is a peerless example of Chuck Ogsbury’s work. The 5/8″ rim is hardwood with a fine rosewood veneer, a finely carved Squash blossom design on solid rosewood resonator, and 2-piece rosewood neck with 3-piece center strip. Equipped with Silverspun tone ring, Oettinger-style tailpiece, and Schaller planetary tuners with mother of pearl buttons. Appointments include double bound rim, resonator, and peghead in black and ivoroid binding; abalone purfling and Grand Artist fingerboard inlay; engraved gold-finished hardware. The ebony fingerboard and peghead overlay are emblazoned with the Grand Artist inlay, featuring the “GRAND ARTIST” banner at the 17th fret. Wonderful tone, and presentation! Hard shell case included.
